Swedish Massage
Swedish massages involve using light, gentle strokes. Relaxing, calming, stimulating blood flow, and encouraging nervous system rest and digest. This is what most typical spas offer.
Deep Tissue Massage
This modality centers on realigning the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the tense areas, either following or going across the fiber's of the muscles, tendons and fascia
Sports/ Recovery Massage
Sports massage is manual manipulation of the muscles geared specifically toward helping people who have physically demanding lifestyles and/or hobbies. This kind of therapeutic massage considers the impact of certain activities on specific joints, muscle groups, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue groups.
Trigger Point
“knots” in the muscle to relieve tension. Increases temperature and blood flow through the muscles promoting relaxation. When muscles are relaxed they can be restored to their full length. Trigger pointing helps restore movement and increase flexibility.
Prenatal/Postpartum
A prenatal massage is a full body massage performed by a certified prenatal specialist that is similar to a Swedish massage (like what you might experience at a spa) except for a few modifications with body positioning that can ensure the safety and comfort for both mother and baby.
It is safe to have a prenatal massage after your first trimester.
Basic Lymphatic
Also known as manual lymphatic drainage, this modality is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in your arms and legs caused by lymphedema. Especially helpful pre + post surgery, and after liposuction treatments.
Hot Stones - $50
For an additional fee you can add hot stones to your massage. Hot stones add an extra relaxing feature to your massage, as well as assisting your therapist in getting deep into your muscle tissue without your discomfort. The stones sooth and warm the muscles, making them perfect for a recovery session.
Cupping - $35
These are an excellent addition to a deep tissue/sports massage. The cups help bring blood flow to the injured area, and decompress stubborn knots and muscles that aren’t responding to compression.
CBD Oil - $40
Think of CBD oil as liquid ibuprofen. After hours on the mountain nothing is more soothing. Especially effective for joint pain, injury prone muscles, and overuse.
Couples
Perfect for relaxing with your significant other. The massages will start and end at the same time. Shared room or separate, whatever the preference.
